A 29-year-old Bucks County, Pa., man was sentenced to 10 to 20 years in state prison for attempting to rape a real estate agent. Frank Yeager kept a diary of more than 200 names and addresses, Facebook pages, businesses, and churches of possible victims, many of which were real estate professionals, police say. 

Lehigh County Judge William Ford called Yeager a “dangerous man” before issuing the maximum sentence to Yeager. 

On Nov. 25 last year, police say that Yeager tried to lure a Pulte real estate rep into a secluded model home with plans to rape her. The woman had told police at the time that the man didn’t ask any questions about purchasing the home so she had a suspicious feeling about him and allowed him to go ahead and tour the model home himself. Yeager later returned to tell her there was a water leak in the model home and insisted she come look at it. A male co-worker came in, and Yeager then left. 

The woman was able to provide a description of Yeager to police, and police matched the description to several other recent complaints filed by real estate professionals about him. Police obtained a search warrant and discovered a detailed diary of Yeager’s fantasies of raping and possibly killing some victims as well as committing suicide. His diary was discovered along with handguns, duct tape, a metal chain with padlocks, and real estate brochures.

“I have been planning and wanted this my whole life ... the help I need is too great and I would rather die,” Deputy District Attorney Matt Falk read from Yeager’s diary in court. 

Prior to the sentencing, Yeager, 29, told the court “This is a reality I created myself. I have no excuses. I deeply regret my effect on my victim and others.”
